New blog - This IS Cornwall!
YAC's Jaime has just moved to Cornwall (or Kernow to be accurate). The entry requirements are pretty rigorous, you have to like fresh air, pasties, good ale and/or proper cider and you must be willing to be called 'my lover' by just about everyone you meet. Hopefully this blog will give a few highlights about trying to survive, adventure and have fun in charming old Kernow. Read more...
Happy reading my lovers. The YAC 11/5/2012 Going to be bored this summer? Why not board?
This July, Jamie MacDonald and Alfie Wiener will be longboarding their way from John O'Groats to Lands End. Covering 35-45 miles a day they are hoping to make the massive journey in 25-30 days. Head over to their website (here) or give them a like on facebook (here)and get the support growing. All sponsorship is going to Whizz Kids and Teenage Cancer Trust. Got a spare 5 weeks, good on a bike and know some first aid? Then click here, as the guys are looking for a support bike. We'll be sure to follow what's going to be an epic.
The YAC 7/5/2012 "Remember that time you lived in a van?"
For 5 months last year Jaime lived in a van. It was a pretty funny time, a time we were unsure whether he was a genius or had just gone off the rails. He loved his van and sadly, recently had to sell it. Join Jaime as he reflects on his time as a gypsy, click here.
The YAC 30/04/2012 Get in touch with Roger Chao!
He's conquered pretty much every terrain on the planet, picked up a lot of awards along the way and now has given us an insight into some of his career highlights. Not content with stopping there however, Roger has also offered his time to provide advice and mentoring to any budding adventurers!
To read more about Roger and his Q&A session with the YAC click here. Or to read more about how Rgger may be able to help you go to our 'Ask Roger' page. Huge thanks to Roger The YAC 24/04/2012 BSES Empty Quarter Expedition 2012
